John W. Taylor

Owner, Funeral Director

A native of Cecil, John Taylor graduated from Canon-McMillan High School, Community College of Allegheny County, and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. John earned his Funeral Director license in 1986, and worked in his field in New York and Washington. Closer to home, John was a Funeral Director in Arnold, Lower Burrell, Apollo, and Saltsburg, before returning to Cecil.

In 2007 John purchased the Eugene C. Coleman Funeral Home and it became Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services.

John attends and supports Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Cecil. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council and 4th Degree, Sons of the American Legion, the Muse Independent Italian Club, and the Canonsburg Elks Club. John has been a firefighter since 1978, and has served as a line officer, treasurer, and president. He is a lifetime member of Arnold #2 Volunteer Fire Company and Cecil #3 Volunteer Fire Company, where he currently serves as a fire fighter.

John and his wife, Kim, are the proud parents of four, and grandparents of one.


 
 

Katlyn L. (Taylor) Taueetia

Funeral DIRECTOR

Katlyn L. (Taylor) Taueetia has been with Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services since 2007 in a variety of positions. Upon earning her credentials from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2022, she’s now a Funeral Director, following in her father’s footsteps. She is also a licensed cosmetologist, and holds a degree in business administration from Penn State.

Katlyn and her husband, Chris, have two boxers and enjoy boating on the weekends.


Dale M. Dohanich

Dale M. Dohanich

Funeral Assistant

Dale M. Dohanich has been with Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services since 2009 as a Funeral Assistant. Previously, Dale worked at Miller Centrifugal Casting as a molder for 41 years. Dale and his wife, Vickie raised two children, Dale (DJ) and Nicole. They are the proud grandparents of 4. Dale also has a passion for classic cars and is the owner of an original 1975 Plymouth Duster.


Larry Lheureau

Funeral Assistant

Before joining Coleman-Taylor as a Funeral Assistant, Larry Lheureau was employed by Canon-McMillan, and PennDOT. He and his wife, Mary Kay, raised three sons and have six grandchildren. Larry has been a fireman at Cecil #3 Volunteer Fire Company since 1970. His passion is dirt track racing, and still works at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in the pits and on track maintenance.
