Wayne Lee Ludwin

Wayne Lee Ludwin, 85 years old of Pittsburgh, died February 25, 2024 in McMurray Hills Manor.

He was born November 14, 1938 in Cecil, Son of the late Frank and Clara Krenn Ludwin.

He was a Sergeant 1st Class with the Army National Guard retiring after 23 years service. He then worked in logistics supply for Universal Cyclops and AK Steel.

Wayne enjoyed playing music and playing his Accordion. He had a band called the Hyd-A-Ways, and was a Huge Steeler and Penguins Fan.

Surviving are three sons Mark (Bethany) Ludwin; Carl Ludwin both of Bridgeville; and Wayne (Carrie) Ludwin, Jr. of McCanless; a daughter Debbie Morisson of Marysville, OH, grandchildren Matthew, Amber, and Carolynn Ludwin; great grandchildren Griffin, Ella, Braydon, Elijah, Summer and Grayson, sisters Janice (Edward) Gibbs; and Judy Bowser both of Cecil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Ludwin in 2018; brothers Chuck, David, and Douglas Ludwin, a sister Bertha Jane Luddwin, and son-in-law John Morrison.

Friends will be received 9:00-10:30 am, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt. 50), where funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. with military honors accorded by the Canonsburg VFW 191 and US Army.
