Sandra Leah Presto

Sandra Leah Presto, 85 years old of Mc Donald, Pennsylvania, died December 22, 2023 in St. Clair Health after a long illness.

 She was born July 9, 1938 in Washington, daughter of the late Daniel Phillip Clifford and Elizabeth Mae Freese Clifford.

 She was a former member of Cecil American Legion, and the Alpine Club in Washington. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and decorating her house. She had an addiction to QVC and Home Shopping Network. Sandy was opinionated, bullheaded and gave advice, even when not solicited. She was a caring and giving person, to too many. 

Sandy worked at Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, she was a receptionist for Dr. Vallejo, worked for Bob Hollick Insurance and then Superior Valve in Washington for many years before retirement. She was fun loving and the life of the party.

After living the single life, she finally said yes to marriage. Richard Presto was the lucky man who shared many years of adventure and love with her. He died in 2011.

 Surviving are brother Dr. Daniel Clifford III of CA; step-children Perry Presto of OH; Kelly Owens of IN; and Tina Douglas of OK; and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew William Slack. She had several friends and caretakers in her inner circle who cared for her in the last few years. She was most thankful for all of them. She shared a close bond with John Taylor, who she always said was the son she never had.

 She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister Donna Jean Torchia.

 A graveside service and inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
