Sandra Francine Desmet

  Sandra Francine Desmet, 81 years old of Cecil, died September 2, 2025 in Kane Regional Hospital-Scott Twp.

  She was born September 2, 1944 in Cecil, daughter of the late Leonard and Ellen Lang Desmet.

  Sandra graduated from South Fayette High School and Edinboro University. She worked 20 years at K-Mart Bridgeville then 20 years at Sam's club in Washington, before retiring to Florida.

  She was a member of Gladden UP Church. Sandra enjoyed listening to Elvis, going to the beach, and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

  Surviving are sons Louis Brill of South Park; and JohnAlan Brill of Orlando, Fl, daughters Sharon (Bruce) Brill of Coraopolis; and Jennifer Brill of South Park; grandchildren, Sandra (Luke) Wilson, Samantha (Jesse) Opel, JohnAlan (Rachel) Brill Jr., Candace Brill (Jamie Valdes), Ashlee Carrozza, and Jena Webb; six great grandchildren and one on the way, a sister Jane (Teddy) Mitchell; and a brother Alan (Harriett) Desmet both of Fairview, South Fayette; and brother-in-law Paul Rolin of Las Vegas.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Florine Rolin; and brother, Leonard Desmet.

  The family will abide by her wishes for no visitation and to be cremated and returned to Florida.
