Robert J. "Bob" Kovan

Robert J. "Bob" Kovan, 88, passed away on March 8, 2024 in Juniper Village, Greentree. He was born in Cecil, Pennsylvania on August 29, 1935. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dinner with friends, camping, and country music festivals. He was a graduate of Cecil High School. He retired from Cooper Industries (McGraw-Edison) after 30 years of service, Bob was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary's Church, Cecil.  He is preceded in death by his father Joseph, mother Anna, and his loving wife Linda of 50 years, and his sister Kathleen Henke. Bob is survived by his son Robert (Cheryl), of Nevada, daughter Robin of Florida, Niece JoAnn Andrews (Bill) of McDonald, and grandson Connor. 

Friends will be received 6-8 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 14.

Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Cecil with Military honor accorded by Canonsburg VFW 191 and the US Army.
