Dorothy Marie Kaufman

Dorothy Marie Kaufman, 101 years old of McDonald, Pennsylvania, died January 6, 2024 in her home.

 She was born January 4, 1923 in Buffalo Twp., Daughter of the late David 'DT' and Lillian Skiles McAllister.

Dorothy was a farm homemaker, a member of Venice Presbyterian Church for 76 years, and the VBS cookie lady, former member of Hickory Presbyterian Church and Mt. Prospect Church. She was a member of the former Millers Run Grange and the Ladies homemakers. She also supported the Hickory High School Alumni. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing and helping with Meals on Wheels.

 Surviving are sons John Kaufman of Cecil; Dwayne (Lou Ann) Kaufman of Washington; and James (Michelle) Kaufman of Southview; grandchildren, Carrie (Adrian) Franks of Columbus, OH; Jennifer (Daniel) Brumbaugh of Coraopolis; Frances (Russell) Clarke of Springfield, VA; Katherine (Andrew) Swoager of Peters Twp.; Dwayne (Valery) Kaufman of Washington; Michael (Katie) Kaufman of Gastonia, NC; and Matthew Kaufman of McDonald; nine great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Lloyd R. Kaufman, SR.; son, Lloyd R. Kaufman, JR.

 Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Thurday, January 11, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil and 10 until time of service at 11AM Friday, Jan. 12, in the Venice Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Patrick Keeley officiating.

 Interment will follow in Venice Cemetery.
