“Welcome to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies 's Wreaths Across America Page.

Ceremony
This year, we will recognize National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The event is back to its pre-COVID format so it will be one day only.

Ceremony begins at noon. Wreath laying to follow.

So that each volunteer has the opportunity to lay a wreath, we ask that you do not take more than 1-2 wreaths per person. The purpose is to remember and honor our veterans by saying their name, so we'd like you to take time to reflect at each grave when you lay the wreath.

Thank you to our generous partners Michael Brothers Hauling & Recycling for once again donating dumpsters for wreath boxes again this year and to RMC Sanitation for donating port-a-johns.

Parking
The northern loop of the cemetery is still under construction which once again is significantly limiting parking this year.  Crown Castle in Southpointe is generously allowing us to use their parking lot for overflow. Please consider meeting up with your party there and car pooling to the cemetery. The address is 2000 Corporate Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317.

Fundraising
Thank you for your generous support! We have reached our wreath goal for 2022. The cemetery grows by approximately 1400 new interred veterans annually, so our wreath goal is always growing. Any additional donations above goal are rolled over to 2023 to help us get a head start.

Wreath Cleanup
Saturday, January 21, 2023”
