Benjamin Anthony D'Angelo

Benjamin Anthony D'Angelo, 64 years old of Hickory, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at McMurray Hills Manor.

 

He was born July 19, 1957 in Washington, son of the late Ben and Mary Szczepanik D'Angelo.

 

He was a member of New Life in Christ Church, Washington. He enjoyed metal detecting, bowling, and traveling, especially to Gettysburg as he was a huge civil war buff. He loved spending time with and will be sadly missed by his family, grandchildren, and friends.

 

He finished his career as a Supevisor Quality Technician for Joy-Komatsa Manufacturing. He also worked 20 years for US Air as a gate agent, ticket counter, and reservation specialist along with many other jobs but flying the plane.

 

Surviving are the love of his life, Kandis D'Angelo of Hickory, step-children, Tiffany Temas-Takah (Jarrod Takah) of Washington, Jordan (Rachael) Alderson of Uniontown,  Amanda Alderson of Hickory, and Paige (Jeremy) Noah of Washington, grandchildren, Annabella, Micah, Quincy, Savana, and Avery Benjamin, Brother, Gary D'Angelo of Waynesburg, Sister, Tina (Rob) Frost of Bethel Park, and nephews and niece, Kevin, Michael, Travis, and Ashley.

 

He was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Veronica D'Angelo.

 

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Sunday, January 30, at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA.

 

Funeral Services will be held at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services Monday, January 31, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Daniel Lutz officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, Pa.
