Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Coleman-Taylor Joins Helping Hands Outreach
Being a family-owned business means more than just providing professional services—it means giving back to the community we call home.
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Katlyn Taueetia and John Taylor spent the morning volunteering with Helping Hands at Corpus Christi Parish, St. Barbara’s Church, in Bridgeville. It was a powerful morning of service, a reminder how much can be achieved when a community works side-by-side.
Making an Impact
In just a few hours, a dedicated team of volunteers of all ages successfully assembled:
1,072 bologna sandwiches
200+ “Backpack Blessings”
These backpack meals are filled with pantry staples like canned goods, macaroni and cheese, juice packs, ramen, and snacks. These items provide more than just nutrition; they provide a sense of security for families and individuals across the greater Pittsburgh area facing food insecurity. According to Feeding America, 1 in 8 people in Pennsylvania struggle with food insecurity. Programs like this can be vital lifelines for local children and seniors.
Going Where the Need Is
The mission of Helping Hands extends far beyond Bridgeville. Volunteers often travel into parts of West Virginia and Ohio, reaching rural areas where resources are scarce. Their goal is simple: bring help wherever it is needed most.
